Water pollution

Water pollution
________________________

  • Bottles, Rubbish bags, Dippers, Boxes, Glass bottles and many more items have been thrown into the sea.

  • When Cows are around the creeks or lakes they poop in the water which causes water pollution.

  • Water pollution kills all sea animals. The plastics and other rubbish that gets thrown into the water is what sea animals eat and it’s very bad for them.

  • In New Zealand we clean out the water that we get from our taps and other water pipes.

  1. Hi Tumanako,

Isn't it interesting that things decompose at a different rate in the sea and in the landfill. Things tend to decompose faster in water than they would sitting above ground. However, this is very bad for the sea creatures as you noted above.
