After you have read the article on All bout Electricity, answer these questions.                                             
  1. What is electricity?
        Electricity is a secondary energy. That means that it is made from other energies, such as coal, water or wind.
                                                                                                                              
  1. What is energy?
Energy is the driving force for the universe.

  1. What causes lightning?
Heavier, negatively charged particles sink to the bottom of the cloud. When the positive and negative charges grow large enough, a giant spark.

  1. What is current electricity?
An electric current is a flow of electric charge. In electric circuits this charge is often carried by moving electrons in a wire.

  1. Name the different sources of energy.
Coal, Oil and Natural Gas.

  1. What is the difference between primary energy and secondary energy?
Fossil fuels (coal, oil and gas), biofuels, wind, waves, solar radiation and nuclear fuels are all primary sources of energy.
