Fantastic Fractions

We are learning to identify the relationship between equivalent fractions.

What is 1/6 of 36?=6

What is 5/11 of 22?=10

What is 4/13 of 26?=8

What is 4/8 the same as?=1 1/4

What is ⅖ the same as?=1 1/2

What is 10/30 the same as?=1 1/3

What is 25/50 the same as?=10/30

I have 2/16 of a cake at a birthday party. I am then given ⅝ of a cake. How much cake do I have altogether?= 7/24

I have 5/20 of a cake left over from the party. I cut the leftover cake into quarters. What fraction is each of these pieces?=1/5

⅕ + ⅗ =4/5

2/10 + 5/10 =7/10

15/10 - 7/10 =22/10

16/30 - 5/30 =21/10

⅕ + 2/20 =30/100

1/7 + ⅚ =41/42

4/9 + 5/13 = 57/27

9/13 + 9/24 =323/312

6/9 + 4/18 =138/162

5/8 + 6/14 =118/112

3/15 + 8/19 =177/285

5/6 + 1/7 =41/42
